Ready to let him go. Beşiktaş wants to loan Atlético forward Sorloth
Atlético Madrid had hoped to sign a new player before the winter transfer window closed, but now there is a possibility that the club could lose an important player before the deadline on Monday.
Details: Several players from Diego Simeone's team have been linked with potential moves. This week, it was revealed that Atlético turned down an offer from West Ham for Rodrigo De Paul, but now the situation with Alexander Sorloth raises questions.
Six months after his transfer from Villarreal for €32 million, Atlético is considering the possibility of loaning out Sorloth, but only until the end of the season. According to Turkish publication Fanatik, Beşiktaş has made an attempt to loan the Norwegian striker until the end of the current season.
Reminder: Despite Sorloth being a key player for Atlético this season — his eight goals in La Liga (10 in all competitions) have helped the team collect crucial points — reports indicate that the club is willing to let the 29-year-old striker leave for the remainder of the season.
