WAFCON 2026: Ivory Coast’s starting XI against Tanzania revealed

The Ivorians face the Tanzanians this evening in the third and final matchday of Group B at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations currently taking place in Morocco.

This is a decisive match for both Ivory Coast and Tanzania. Although the Ivorian side sit top of the group with four points following a win and a draw, they cannot afford to slip up.

The Elephants must avoid any missteps if they are to prevent an unwelcome surprise on this final matchday. Tanzania have three points thanks to their 2–1 victory over South Africa on the opening day. That said, if the Tanzanians manage to beat the Ivorians, the standings could change in the race to qualify for the tournament’s quarter-finals.

With kick-off scheduled for 8 pm GMT, Ivory Coast head coach Reynald Pedros has revealed his official line-up.
