Vladimir Petkovic is set to extend his contract with the Algerian national team
The announcement is scheduled for 7 June
The Algerian Football Federation and the Swiss manager are reported to have reached an agreement.
Having been in the role since February 2024, Vladimir Petkovic will continue to lead the Algerian national team. His performances have convinced the Algerian football authorities, who have decided to keep him at the helm of the Fennecs’ coaching staff.
According to information from Samir Kaabouche, Vladimir Petkovic is set to officially extend his contract on Sunday 7 June. The Swiss coach is expected to renew his contract for a further two years. This extension is reportedly set to be accompanied by a pay rise for Petkovic.
