The young right-back Vinicius Tobias is leaving Real Madrid. The club has decided not to purchase the Brazilian footballer’s contract from Shakhtar Donetsk, to whom he is under contract.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Vinicius Tobias will return to Shakhtar and begin pre-season training with the Ukrainian club, where he is expected to be a key player.

Vinicius Tobias joined Shakhtar in the winter of 2022 from Corinthians for 6 million euros. However, he left the club due to the onset of the war in Ukraine.

During his 2.5 seasons with Real Madrid Castilla, the 20-year-old Tobias played 61 matches, providing 8 assists.

It is worth noting that Shakhtar won the Ukrainian championship, and following Real Madrid's victory in the Champions League, they secured a spot in the group stage of the 2024/25 Champions League season.
