Vinícius Júnior named La Liga Player of the Month

As is tradition, at the end of each month, La Liga announces its Player of the Month.

Details: La Liga officially recognized Real Madrid winger Vinícius Júnior as the best player of November. He scored a hat-trick in the match against Osasuna and provided an assist in the game against Leganés.

We recently reported that Real Madrid suffered a major setback earlier this week when it was confirmed that Vinícius Júnior had sustained an injury during Sunday’s win over Leganés.

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti commented on the injury to his key player. According to the coach, it was caused in no small part by the high number of matches played.

Reminder: Vinicius will miss Real Madrid’s crucial Champions League clash against Liverpool on Wednesday. His overall recovery time is expected to be 2–3 weeks.

On a positive note, Lucas Vázquez has recovered from injury and has been included in the squad for the match against Liverpool.
