Vinicius Junior bids heartfelt farewell to departing Real Madrid player Lucas Vazquez

Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior took to Instagram to share an emotional message dedicated to Lucas Vazquez, who is leaving the club.

The Brazilian posted joint photos with the Spaniard, accompanied by a touching and heartfelt caption.

“My brother Lucas, thank you for every moment together, for every word, for every smile, and every detail. Ever since I arrived, you’ve been like an older brother to me, always caring for my family and friends. You always supported me, both on and off the pitch. I will really miss our laughter, our conversations, and everything we shared during these years at Real Madrid. Your humility and hard work have taken you so far. I wish you all the best in this new chapter, because I know you’re still a champion and, above all, a great person. See you soon, Lukitaaaaaa. Love you so much, my brother. ❤️” wrote Vinicius.

As a reminder, Lucas Vazquez is leaving Real Madrid after spending 10 years with the first team. Moreover, Vazquez is a product of the club’s academy, having joined as far back as 2007. Throughout his entire career, Lucas only spent one year away from Real Madrid, playing on loan for Espanyol.

In total, Vazquez made 400 appearances for the Madrid club.
