Real Madrid close to completing two transfers ahead of the 2025 Club World Cup

Real Madrid are taking preparations for the revamped Club World Cup extremely seriously, and are on the verge of completing two more transfers.
Details: According to Relevo, Benfica’s left-back Álvaro Carreras is just a step away from becoming a Real Madrid player.
The Madrid club will pay around 50 million euros for his transfer, and the Spanish defender is set to sign a five-year contract.
At the same time, as reported by Marca, Real Madrid will also bring back central midfielder Nico Paz from Como. The club holds the right of first refusal to buy back the Argentine for 8 million euros, and they intend to exercise it.
At the 2025 Club World Cup, Real Madrid will face Al Hilal, Red Bull Salzburg, and Pachuca in the group stage.
