VIDEO. The famous British singer interrupted her concert in Munich to watch the Olympics
The renowned British singer Adele had scheduled a series of concerts in Munich, Germany. Yesterday, she performed at the Messe München exhibition complex, which can accommodate up to 80,000 spectators. However, the concert was unexpectedly interrupted by Adele herself for an unusual reason.
A video circulating online shows Adele pausing the concert to watch Sha'Carri Richardson's final 100-meter race at the Olympics.
The arena screens displayed the Olympic broadcast, and the audience fell silent during the race.
In the end, American sprinter Sha'Carri Richardson won silver with a time of 10.87 seconds, while her compatriot Melissa Jefferson took bronze with a time of 10.92 seconds. The gold medal was claimed by Julien Alfred from Saint Lucia, who secured her country's first Olympic gold with a time of 10.72 seconds.
Currently, the United States holds the second position in the Olympic medal table, behind China. Adele's home country, Great Britain, stands in fifth place.
