(VIDEO) Team-mates beautifully congratulated Kante on winning the best player of the match award

The call-up of Al Ittihad's Ngolo Kante to the France national team was one of the biggest surprises of the current Euro 2024.

And an even bigger surprise has been the level Kante is at, despite having already played in Saudi Arabia for a year. The former Chelsea midfielder played incredibly against Austria (1-0) and was voted the best player of the match by both UEFA and Dailysports.

A video has hit the net, in which the players of the French national team very warmly in the locker room congratulate Kante with the award received.

"Listen to me carefully. This is not a myth. I saw it with my own eyes," said France midfielder Youssef Fofana.

France will play against the Netherlands in the next round of the Euro 2024 group stage.
