Inter Miami secured a narrow victory over Philadelphia Union with a scoreline of 2-1. One of the goals was scored by Lionel Messi, but that wasn't the only highlight of his performance.
Details: Towards the end of the match, the Argentine forward twice elbowed his opponent, South African midfielder Olwethu Makhanya. The player responded to the incident by fouling Messi.
Messi came onto the field in the second half and just two minutes after his substitution, he found the net. Receiving a pass from Luis Suarez in the penalty area, he skillfully struck with his right foot.
Inter Miami continues to impress, remaining unbeaten in nine consecutive matches, including fixtures in the CONCACAF Champions League.
