La Liga President Javier Tebas wants Egyptian players Mohamed Salah and Omar Marmoush to join Spain's top soccer league. Both players have done really well this season, with Salah shining for Liverpool and Marmoush doing great at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Talking to OnTime Sports 2, Tebas mentioned that Egyptian fans love Spanish soccer a lot. He said, "La Liga has many fans in Egypt, and adding Salah or Marmoush would make a big difference for the league."
He also said, "They are amazing players. If they play for one of La Liga's best teams, it would make the league more popular around the world and connect even more with Egyptian fans."
There have been rumors that Salah might go to Barcelona, and Marmoush is also being talked about as a possible player for the Catalan team. Tebas ended by saying, "It would be great to see these top level Egyptian players succeed in La Liga."
Recent reports have linked Salah with a move to Barcelona, while Marmoush has also been rumored as a target for the Catalan giants. Tebas concluded, "It would be fantastic to see such world-class talent from Egypt thrive in La Liga."
