Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokić delivered one of the best assists of the NBA season last night in a game against Philadelphia.
The Serbian big man received the ball near the left sideline, with his back to the basket and the three-second area, all while under defensive pressure. However, that didn’t stop him from making a perfect no-look pass to Jamal Murray, who finished the play under the rim.
A high-scoring thriller
The Philadelphia vs. Denver matchup turned out to be the highest-scoring game of the night in the NBA, with both teams combining for 271 points. The Nuggets secured a 137-134 victory.
Jokić recorded yet another double-double in his career, finishing with 28 points and 13 assists. He fell just one rebound short of a triple-double.
Currently, Denver sits fourth in the Western Conference, continuing its push for the playoffs.
