The Burnley SMM department continues to showcase its creativity when announcing new signings.
Today, Burnley officially secured the loan of 21-year-old central defender Bashir Humphreys from Chelsea. The loan deal is for one season, with an option to buy.
To announce Humphreys' arrival, Burnley used a scene from the legendary "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, depicting the player as Gandalf.
Last season, Humphreys was on loan at Swansea City, where he made 24 appearances and scored 1 goal. He has only 2 appearances for Chelsea.
It’s worth noting that Burnley was relegated from the Premier League to the Championship last season. In the first round, Burnley thrashed Luton 4-1, and in the second round, they convincingly defeated Cardiff City 5-0.
