Victor Osimhen Nets Dramatic Winner as Galatasaray Edge Samsunspor 3-2 in Super Lig Thriller

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen was the hero for Galatasaray on Friday, scoring a stunning stoppage-time winner to secure a dramatic 3-2 victory over Samsunspor in their Super Lig clash.

The home side got off to a flying start as Germany international Leroy Sané opened the scoring in the 8th minute. Osimhen then doubled Galatasaray’s lead just before the half-hour mark, finishing expertly after a precise setup from Sané.

Samsunspor staged a strong second-half comeback, with Anthony Musaba pulling one back in the 56th minute. The visitors even managed to level the score through Emre Kilinç two minutes from time, setting the stage for a nail-biting finale.

However, Osimhen delivered the decisive moment with a spectacular bicycle kick deep into stoppage time, sealing all three points for Galatasaray.

The victory keeps Galatasaray top of the Super Lig table, boasting 36 points from 15 matches.
