Venus Williams sparks engagement rumors ahead of sensational tennis comeback
Tennis legend Venus Williams has fueled speculation about a possible engagement to her boyfriend Andrea Preti after being spotted wearing a stunning diamond ring on her left ring finger, Daily Mail reports. The rumors come just as she prepares for a shocking return to the court, having received a wild card entry for the Indian Wells tournament next month.
Talk of Venus and Preti’s romance first surfaced last year when they were seen vacationing together in Nerano on the Amalfi Coast in July 2024. Now, just months later, their relationship appears to have grown even stronger—potentially leading them to take the next big step.
The couple was recently spotted in Rome, openly displaying affection—kissing, holding hands, and embracing. However, it was the sparkling diamond ring on Venus’s finger that caught the attention of many, hinting at a possible change in their relationship status.
Williams is set to return to competition for the first time since March 2024, following a prolonged battle with injuries. The 44-year-old tennis icon has won seven Grand Slam singles titles throughout her illustrious career.
