Van Persie has agreed on everything – he will become Feyenoord's new head coach

Legendary Robin van Persie is set to return to his hometown club Feyenoord in the near future.

Details: According to David Ornstein, Feyenoord has fully agreed on the 41-year-old manager’s move from Heerenveen.

Van Persie will sign a contract with Feyenoord until the summer of 2027 and will take on his new role starting next week.

He previously coached Feyenoord’s youth team and took over Heerenveen last summer, where the team currently sits ninth in the Eredivisie after 23 rounds.

Reminder: Feyenoord sensationally advanced to the Champions League round of 16 after defeating Milan. In the next stage, the Rotterdam club could face Inter or Arsenal.
