Usyk's visit helped. Chisora in the battle of the pensioners defeated Joyce

In London (England) held an evening of boxing, the main event of which was the battle of British super heavyweight boxers Dereck Chisora and Joe Joyce. It should be noted that both are approaching a critical age, when it is already worth thinking about the end of the career: Chisora at the time of the fight was 40 years old, and Joyce - 38.

The arena in London was graced by the visit of the super heavyweight champion, Oleksandr Usyk. The Ukrainian not only flirted with the audience, but also visited Chisora's locker room and showed him something on his phone.
The fight itself turned out to be quite heavy. It was felt that the athletes were not in their ideal form: both of them did not always manage to invest in punches and did not always manage to block the opponent's attacks. Sometimes it seemed that the next blow could be the last for one of the boxers, but they continued to keep the balance.
The paradox of this fight was demonstrated by the episode in the penultimate, ninth round: Chisora was already unsure of his feet, but managed to knock Joyce down at that very moment.
Derek Chisora won the fight by unanimous decision. It seems that the main argument for the judges was the power and accuracy of punches: Joyce hit more, and Chisora was stronger and more accurate.
It was not a fight of high quality. However, it was an outstanding battle between two boxers who did not want to lose.
