Usyk immediately after the victory over Fury addressed his father, who passed away 12 years ago

Absolute world heavyweight champion, Oleksandr Usyk, in his first comment after the fight, addressed his father, who was unable to see the fight from the stands.

"Father, can you hear me? We did it!", - Said Usyk.

After that, Alexander thanked everyone, including his opponent.

"Thank you very much to my team. Thank you to my God. Your Excellency, thank you.

This is a great opportunity for me, for my family, for my country. Glory to Ukraine!

It's a great time and a great day. Thank you Fury. Without you it would be impossible," - said Usyk.

Recall that Usyk defeated Tyson Fury by a split decision of judges.
