USA and Uruguay start with a victory. Results of the Copa America matches

In the early hours of Monday, June 24, the first-round matches of the Copa America group stage took place. Group C teams played their matches.

The hosts, the USA, secured a convincing 2-0 victory. Christian Pulisic scored the opening goal in the third minute. Closer to the end of the half, Folarin Balogun doubled the lead, setting the final score at 2-0.

The Uruguay national team also achieved a commanding victory. Araujo opened the scoring in the first half. Near the end of the match, Núñez and Viña added two more goals, concluding the game with a 3-1 result.
