Details: According to SullyTalkz, Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes will win the 2026 Men's PFA Players' Player of the Year award. The official announcement is expected later tonight. At the time of writing, the PFA has not formally named the winner, but it has confirmed that the awards ceremony takes place on Tuesday, August 25, in Manchester.

Fernandes was officially included among the six finalists for the main men's PFA prize. His rivals on the shortlist are Manchester City's Rayan Cherki and Erling Haaland, Arsenal trio Gabriel Magalhães, David Raya and Declan Rice.

The PFA Players' Player of the Year award is particularly prestigious because the voting is carried out by the players themselves. PFA members select the footballers they consider to have delivered the strongest performances over the course of the season.

It's worth noting that Fernandes has already been named the Premier League's EA SPORTS Player of the Season for 2025/26 and also won the Playmaker of the Season award. The Portuguese midfielder finished the league campaign with a record 21 assists, surpassing the previous single-season mark of 20 held by Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne, while also scoring nine goals.
