UPL match officially postponed! Shelling of Chornomorets stadium disrupts clash against Kolos
The Russian army has once again carried out a terrorist attack against the civilian population.
Details: The Ukrainian Premier League Directorate has officially confirmed the postponement of the second-round match between Chornomorets and Kolos due to the aftermath of the stadium shelling in Odesa.
The match was scheduled to take place tomorrow at the home ground of the Odesa club, but damage to the sports facility caused by an airstrike on Ukrainian territory by the Russian Federation, along with safety concerns for participants, has rendered the game impossible to stage.
The league noted that the exact date, time, and venue for the rescheduled match will be announced separately after coordination with the clubs.
Given the intensity and brutality of Russian airstrikes, there is a real risk that, following similar incidents, the Ukrainian Premier League could find itself in a position where it cannot finish the newly started season.
Reminder: Ukrainian Premier League match may be canceled after Russian troops shell Chornomorets stadium in Odesa
