Kane now has 9 goals in the knockout stages of major tournaments (World Cup / Euros), more than any other European player.

With this goal, the English forward has surpassed Gerd Müller, Miroslav Klose, Antoine Griezmann, and Kylian Mbappé (all with 8 goals) in this statistic.

By the way, yesterday, the wonderkid of the Spanish national team, Lamine Yamal, became the youngest goalscorer in the history of the European Championships.
