Unprecedented move! PSG considering offering Luis Enrique a lifetime contract
If the PSG management goes through with this, it would be the most sensational offer in modern football.
Details: According to DiarioAS, the French club's board is seriously considering offering their current head coach, 55-year-old Luis Enrique, a lifetime contract.
Reports suggest that PSG's hierarchy sees Enrique as the perfect coach for their ambitious project, with the club's recent triumphs in the Champions League and UEFA Super Cup serving as proof of his fit.
At this stage, there have been no official negotiations, but both parties are ready to open talks in the near future.
Luis Enrique took charge of PSG in 2023. Since then, the Spaniard has overseen 143 matches, recording 101 wins, 23 draws, and 19 defeats. Under his guidance, PSG have won the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, two Ligue 1 titles, two French Cups, two French Super Cups, and the FIFA International Tournament.
Enrique's current contract with PSG runs until 2027.
Reminder: PSG leads the top five leagues in attacking firepower, having scored four or more goals in a match more often than any other team.
