Unpleasant news. Ter Stegen allegedly leaking Barcelona’s internal information to the media
On Tuesday, December 16, Marc-André Ter Stegen played his first match in six months as part of the Copa del Rey. However, the very next day, December 17, some troubling news emerged.
Details: According to Rafael Hernández, the German goalkeeper Marc-André Ter Stegen is allegedly a mole, leaking internal locker room information to the media.
We previously reported that after yesterday’s Round of 32 Copa del Rey match against Guadalajara, Barcelona head coach Hans-Dieter Flick, together with the club management, managed to catch a betrayer secretly providing the press with details about the locker room and the team’s internal matters.
However, the name was not initially disclosed—until now.
Reminder: Barcelona is currently involved in legal proceedings related to the Negreira case and recently faced a real threat of being banned from the UEFA Champions League because of it.
