Unexpectedly, Erling Haaland spotted fishing in Cornwall
Manchester City star Erling Haaland took advantage of some free days to make an unexpected visit to the town of Newquay in Cornwall on Monday. According to The Sun, the footballer went there with a friend to go fishing.

It is reported that Haaland, with his personal chef and best friend, was taken on a secret pollock fishing trip by local fisherman Dave Trebilcock, who transported them on his boat, Che-Sara-Sara. Trebilcock admitted that he was asked to take someone on the boat, but wasn't told who it was.
"The trip was top secret. Nearer the time I was told the person I was taking out was a superstar so it was all hush hush," Trebilcock revealed.
It is also reported that the Norwegian flew to the location on a private helicopter.

However, he couldn't escape unnoticed as fans spotted him near Towan Beach, where he took several photos with them. He even signed a City shirt for one lucky boy.

It's worth noting that such a trip at the start of the week was possible for Haaland because City was knocked out of the Champions League, and the Citizens' next game is only on the weekend.
