Troubled Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho spent last season on loan at Chelsea, as the Blues struggled to make a final decision about his future. Now, a last-minute solution has emerged.
Details: According to Sky Sports, Chelsea are currently in talks with Sancho's representatives regarding the terms of a new contract. The winger will remain at Stamford Bridge only if both parties can agree on terms favorable to the club.
These terms primarily mean that Sancho's salary shouldn't be excessive and must fit comfortably within the club's wage structure.
Reminder: Sancho joined Chelsea on loan from Manchester United last August, and Chelsea now have an obligation to buy him for £25 million. The club can pay Manchester United a £5 million penalty to walk away from the permanent deal.
