Unexpected twist. Kaizer Chiefs' chances of signing Steven Mukwala are slipping

Kaizer Chiefs are on the hunt for attacking reinforcements and had set their sights on Simba striker Steven Mukwala. However, the situation has taken a turn—the club’s chances of landing the forward have dropped significantly.
Details: According to Siya, Simba has received a $300,000 offer from Berkane, making the Moroccan side the frontrunner in the race for Mukwala. Simba’s management is hoping to secure a higher price for their striker, which has weakened Kaizer Chiefs’ position.
If the South African club doesn’t return with a concrete offer, Mukwala will be heading to Berkane instead of Kaizer Chiefs.
Mukwala’s current contract runs until the summer of 2027. He has scored an impressive 12 goals in 11 Tanzanian Premier League matches, making him one of the continent’s most prolific forwards.
Reminder: The Amakhosi have ramped up their search for a striker ahead of the new season and have once again turned their attention to what seemed like a forgotten target—Robert Polievka.
