Details: According to Gianluca Di Marzio on his page on social network X, the 35-year-old Brazilian midfielder Douglas Costa is set to join Chievo, currently competing in Serie D.

It is reported that all terms between the parties have already been agreed, and within 24 hours Costa will officially sign a half-year contract with Chievo. It is also specified that after his contract with Chievo expires, Douglas Costa will join Al-Ittihad as a free agent in the summer of 2026.

At the moment, Douglas Costa is a free agent after his contract with Australian side Sydney expired in September 2025.
