Marc-André ter Stegen has found himself at the heart of a serious conflict with the Barcelona board. The German goalkeeper, currently with the German national team, is shaken by recent developments and deeply frustrated by leaks regarding his role in the squad. He believes the club is deliberately creating a negative atmosphere around him to force him out.
According to Sport, Deco is planning to inform the player about the club's decision and try to reach a compromise, but Ter Stegen himself is not open to negotiations. He is deeply hurt and determined to fight for his place in the team.
The goalkeeper is under contract until 2028 and has made it clear he has no intention of breaking it. The club, meanwhile, is ready to take decisive action: Ter Stegen will be offered compensation for one year of his contract if he agrees to terminate the deal.
