As Liam Rosenior's position as Chelsea's head coach grows increasingly precarious, the club's management has already moved into action, drawing up a shortlist of potential successors.
Details: According to RMC Sport, even though Rosenior's fate is hanging by a thread, the "Blues" hierarchy have no intention of waiting and have begun preliminary talks with candidates capable of pulling the team out of its deep on-field crisis.
The leading favorite on Chelsea's shortlist is Andoni Iraola. The Spanish coach has already officially announced his departure from Bournemouth at the end of the season, and sources report that the London club has already established contact with him.
The second major contender for the vacant position is Edin Terzic. The former Borussia Dortmund manager is currently one of the most sought-after free agents on the European coaching market.
Reminder: Young Chelsea and Brazil national team talent Estevao could miss the 2026 World Cup.
