Former Liverpool striker Emile Heskey has ventured beyond football in his post-playing career. According to The Sun, he has taken on a role as director of a security firm.

Heskey will work with Octavian, a company founded by his childhood friend Suki Ghuman. Octavian Security collaborates with leading businesses and public sector organizations, providing risk management, workforce solutions, and protective services.

"The company is a real route for progression for me. It's my mission to encourage more athletes into the business world to not only learn, but also share their winning mindset and help businesses grow," Heskey stated.

The former footballer will combine this new role with his current position as head of football development for Leicester City Women.

During his time at Liverpool, Heskey won the UEFA Cup, FA Cup, and UEFA Super Cup. Aside from his Anfield stint, he also played for Leicester City, Aston Villa, and Birmingham City. Heskey earned 62 caps for England, scoring seven goals.
