Unexpected. Bournemouth intend to loan the ex-Real Madrid goalkeeper

Bournemouth have been linked with several star goalkeeper signings in the summer transfer window. It was previously thought that the Cherries would loan out Giorgi Mamardashvili should he move to Liverpool. Another name that Andoni Iraola is interested in is one that may surprise in terms of status.

He is a goalkeeper who spent last season on loan at Real Madrid and is owned by Chelsea's Kepa. According to Sky Sports, Iraola is set to bring in his former teammate, who he crossed paths with at Athletic Bilbao.

But the deal is considered a bit difficult due to the Spaniard's wages and his contract with Chelsea. The Pensioners need to finalise several internal agreements for the deal to go through.

Including re-signing Kepa, which would involve a pay cut, having in mind that Chelsea will spend this season out of the Champions League.

Another goalkeeper that Bournemouth have been linked with recently is Arsenal player Aaron Ramsdale.
