Wrexham has secured a new investor.
Details: Wrexham officially announced that Apollo Sports Capital—the new majority owners of Atletico Madrid—have become minority shareholders in the Welsh club.
Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney remain the club's primary owners and will retain full control over its management.
The investment from Apollo Sports Capital is set to fund the redevelopment of the STōK Cae Ras stadium. The capital injection will help accelerate ongoing renovations, including the construction of the new Kop Stand.
For the record: Barcelona has dropped its interest in Atletico striker Julian Alvarez following his disappointing outing against the Blaugrana.
