Even Cristiano Ronaldo can fail from the spot.

Details: Cristiano Ronaldo missed a penalty for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League clash against NEOM. The dramatic moment came deep into first-half stoppage time, when the Riyadh side were handed a golden opportunity to break the deadlock.

João Félix was brought down inside the penalty area by Mohammed Al Dossary. The referee initially reviewed the episode with VAR before confirming the penalty for Al Nassr. Ronaldo, as usual, stepped up to take responsibility from the spot.

However, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner failed to convert. Ronaldo struck the ball wide of the goal in the 45+6th minute, leaving the score at 0-0. The miss proved to be the final major episode of the opening half, with Al Nassr and NEOM heading into the break without a goal.

It is worth noting that Al Nassr entered the match sitting third in the Saudi Pro League with 19 points from eight games and six victories. Ronaldo, meanwhile, had scored five goals for the Riyadh club across domestic and AFC competition before the meeting with NEOM.
