Unbelievable form: Haaland has a higher xG than the entire Aston Villa team

Erling Haaland is in sensational form after the opening months of the season, and his numbers highlight a gap not just between him and other players — but entire clubs.

Details: According to The xG Philosophy, the Norwegian striker currently boasts a higher expected goals tally than the whole Aston Villa squad in the Premier League.

It was previously reported that the 25-year-old Manchester City and Norway forward hasn’t been caught offside once this season. In fact, throughout his entire Premier League career spanning nearly four years, he has only been flagged offside 18 times.

Reminder: Manchester City recently demolished Borussia Dortmund 4–1 at the Etihad, with Haaland once again on the scoresheet — further cementing his place in the club’s history.
