Manchester City crushed Borussia Dortmund 4–1 at the Etihad, and among the scorers was Erling Haaland, who made club history once again.
Details: According to Opta, the Norwegian forward became the first player in Manchester City’s history to score in five consecutive UEFA Champions League matches. Haaland is also the first player ever to achieve such a streak with three different clubs in the competition.
Meanwhile, Phil Foden became the first player since 2008 to score two goals from outside the box in a single Champions League match. The last to do so was Alessandro Del Piero, in Juventus’ clash with Real Madrid.
Reminder: In the fourth round of the UEFA Champions League, Barcelona played out a thrilling 3–3 draw with Club Brugge — a match that marked yet another milestone for Lamine Yamal.
