Unbelievable! Ball boy prevents his own team from scoring. VIDEO
A ball boy became the most unexpected protagonist of a dramatic match in Chile.
Details: An extraordinary incident occurred in the 88th minute of Unión Española's home match against Rangers de Talca in Chile's Primera B. The hosts were trailing 1-0 at Estadio Santa Laura and desperately pushing for an equaliser when one of their own ball boys suddenly ran onto the pitch.

The timing could hardly have been worse. Unión Española had launched a dangerous attack and sent a long ball toward the Rangers penalty area, where Andrés Vilches was preparing to take control and potentially find himself in a threatening position.
However, a second ball was lying on the field, and the ball boy entered the pitch in an attempt to remove it. He crossed into the path of the action and interfered with a Rangers defender, forcing the referee to stop play. Instead of allowing their promising attack to continue, Unión Española saw the move disappear in bizarre circumstances.
The episode was even more painful for the home side because Rangers had been playing with ten men since the 72nd minute following Damián González's red card. Unión Española were throwing players forward in search of an equaliser, but they were unable to make their numerical advantage count and eventually lost 0-1.
Junior Arias scored the only goal from the penalty spot in the 56th minute. It is worth noting that the defeat ended Unión Española's three-match winning streak in Primera B. After the game, they remained fifth with 34 points, while bottom-placed Rangers collected their second league victory and moved to 12 points.
