Details: According to RMC Sport, the 32-year-old former French national team and Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti will join the RMC team of journalists as they prepare to cover the 2026 World Cup matches.
It is reported that Umtiti will become a regular contributor and one of the hosts of the program "L'After Foot," which will provide coverage of the upcoming World Cup events.

Umtiti's debut as a sports journalist will take place this weekend, when the Frenchman will provide coverage of the Ligue 1 Round 21 clash between PSG and Marseille.
On September 15, Samuel Umtiti announced his retirement from football at the age of 32 due to injury. During his career, the Frenchman played for clubs such as Lyon, Barcelona, Lecce, and Lille.
For the French national team, Umtiti made 31 appearances, scored 4 goals, and was part of the squad that won the 2018 World Cup.
