Ulsan HD coach disappointed by defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns, calls it decisive

Mamelodi Sundowns edged past Ulsan HD in the opening match of the FIFA Club World Cup group stage with a 1-0 victory, leaving the South Korean side's head coach visibly frustrated by the result.
Details: Ulsan HD's head coach Hong Myung-bo emphasized that his players gave everything in their pursuit of victory, and expressed his gratitude for their efforts. However, he believes this defeat could prove pivotal in the team's battle to reach the knockout stages, as their main objective remains qualification for the round of 16.
Quote: "Our goal is to reach the round of 16, and this match was decisive. I had to win. Fluminense and Dortmund hold a significant advantage. I did everything I could, but couldn't secure the result. Still, I am proud of my players. I will recover well, prepare systematically, and approach the next game with the right mindset," the Ulsan HD coach stated.
Ulsan HD's next match is scheduled for the night of June 22 against Fluminense, with their final group stage clash set for June 25 against Borussia Dortmund.
Reminder: Mamelodi Sundowns defender etched his name into the tournament's history. Devai Lunga became the first-ever FIFA Club World Cup participant from Zimbabwe.
