Uganda vs Tanzania: what you need to know about the match

Uganda played Tunisia in their opening group-stage match and were unable to offer much resistance. The team suffered a 1:3 defeat and currently sit on zero points in the standings.

Tanzania, meanwhile, produced a very entertaining first match against Nigeria. The Tanzanians lost narrowly, 1:2, despite delivering a strong performance in that encounter.

Both teams now have zero points after two rounds and are under pressure to secure a victory, as a defeat would leave them with almost no chance of reaching the knockout stage. However, a win for either side would keep alive hopes of progressing to the round of 16, potentially from third place.
