Uganda Captain Motivates Teammates Ahead of Africa's Biggest Continental Challenge
After missing the previous two editions of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Uganda's preparing for anticipated return in the next edition of the tournament, which's scheduled to be held in Morocco 2025.
“The energy and support of the fans has been an inspiration throughout the journey, and it's a great honor to represent Uganda at Africa’s biggest footballing event, let’s show the continent what we can achieve”, said The Cranes Captain Khalid Aucho.
As the draw date approaches, the Ugandan team seeks to achieve a new accomplishment after the accomplishment it achieved in 1978 when it came in second place behind the Ghanaian team, in order to fulfill the hopes of its fans and leave a strong mark.
Aucho also stressed and urged his experienced and new teammates to unite and work together, saying: “This's your moment, give it your all and enjoy the experience. We're proud of you to represent our nation”.
