Special ceremony in Rabat in preparation for the most important tournament in Africa
The Confederation of African Football has just officially announced the details of the draw ceremony for the African Cup of nations, which is scheduled to be held next monday in the Moroccan capital, Rabat. The draw will be held at the Théâtre National Mohammed V, at 7:00 pm local time, and 6:00 pm GMT.
According to the statement published on the official CAF website, the ceremony is expected to be attended by prominent figures in African football and legends of the game, in addition to the heads of national federations.
Mama Africa fans will have a date with the most important tournament in Africa (the African Nations Championship) from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026. This edition will witness the participation of 24 teams, including 6 Arab teams: Morocco, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Comoros, and Sudan.
However, CAF has not yet revealed the official classification of the teams participating in the tournament, which increases anticipation to determine the path of the teams participating in the tournament as the draw date approaches.
