This week marked the conclusion of the second-leg quarterfinal matches of the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League season, and UEFA has announced the player of the week.
Details: The official player of the week in the Champions League has been awarded to Borussia Dortmund's Guinean forward Serhou Guirassy.
On Tuesday, Guirassy scored a hat-trick in the match against Barcelona (3-1), but his team was eliminated from the Champions League, having suffered a 0-4 defeat in Spain.
Declan Rice finished second in the voting, Lautaro Martinez came third, and Ousmane Dembele took fourth place.
With 13 goals to his name, Guirassy is the top scorer in the current Champions League.
