Barcelona winger Raphinha risks starting the next European club season in the stands.

Details: According to Mundo Deportivo, UEFA is considering a three-match Champions League ban for the Brazilian due to his harsh remarks about refereeing following the defeat to Atletico. The disciplinary committee takes public accusations of bias extremely seriously, and the Catalan star's comments about a "robbery" could prove very costly for the club.

The investigation was prompted by Raphinha's interview with DAZN Brasil, where he did not mince his words.

"For me, this was a stolen match. I think the refereeing was very poor—it's incredible the decisions the referee made. Atletico committed a huge number of fouls and the referee didn't show them a single yellow card," the player fumed.

The climax of his statement was a hint at a conspiracy theory: Raphinha said he wanted to understand the fear of Barcelona coming and winning.

Reminder: Raphinha maintains that Barcelona were "robbed" in the match against Atletico—Madrid players fired back at him.
