UEFA has appointed the refereeing team for the final match of the European Championship 2024 between England and Spain.

French referee François Letexier will officiate the final match at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.

The assistant referees will also be French – Cyril Mugnier and Mehdi Rahmouni. The fourth official will be Szymon Marciniak from Poland, who was the main referee for the 2022 World Cup final.

The chief VAR referee will be another Frenchman, Jérôme Brisard, with his assistants being compatriot Willy Delajod and Massimiliano Irrati from Italy.

François Letexier, 35, has been an international referee since 2017 and has officiated 65 official UEFA matches during his career.

In the final tournament of Euro 2024, he officiated three matches, including the round of 16 match between Spain and Georgia, two group stage matches – Denmark vs. Serbia and Croatia vs. Albania, and served as the fourth official for the opening match between Germany and Scotland in Munich.
