Two young talented players have been called up to the England national team for the friendly match against Belgium. They will replace Kyle Walker, Harry Maguire, and Sam Johnstone, who have left the Three Lions camp due to injuries.

Gareth Southgate has added leaders from the England U21 team to the national squad: defender Rico Lewis and goalkeeper James Trafford.

Nineteen-year-old Lewis represents Manchester City and has played 21 matches for the first team. Twenty-one-year-old Trafford, also a product of City's academy, has been guarding the goal for Burnley since last summer. In the current season, the goalkeeper has appeared in 28 matches across all competitions.

Lewis has already made his debut for the England national team in November 2023. Trafford has yet to play for the Three Lions.

On March 26, Gareth Southgate's team will play a friendly match against Belgium. On March 23, the English team lost to Brazil (0-1).
