Two top English clubs, Manchester United and Chelsea, are targeting the acquisition of left-back Ferland Mendy from Real Madrid.
The Frenchman Mendy has been playing for Los Blancos since 2019. Over this period, he has participated in 147 matches for Real in all competitions, scoring 5 goals and providing 10 assists.
In the current season, the 28-year-old defender has featured in 14 matches without contributing to goals. Ferland Mendy's contract with Real is set to run until the summer of 2025.
It is reported that Real Madrid is willing to part ways with Ferland Mendy.
Earlier reports indicated that Real Madrid is interested in signing a young talent from Sevilla.
