Two England stars will miss the 2024 European Championships
England's head coach Gareth Southgate is finalizing his squad for the upcoming Euro 2024 tournament. According to David Ornstein, two star players will miss the tournament. Manchester City's winger Jack Grealish and Manchester United's central defender Harry Maguire are the players in question.
Grealish's exclusion is a decision made by Southgate, as the player had a disappointing season at Manchester City and did not impress the coach during the training camps. Maguire, on the other hand, will miss the tournament due to injury.
It was previously reported that Southgate has also excluded Tottenham's attacking midfielder James Maddison and Liverpool's central midfielder Curtis Jones from the Euro 2024 squad.
At Euro 2024, England will face Denmark, Slovenia, and Serbia in the group stage. They will play their first match of the tournament against Serbia on June 16.
Tomorrow, England will play a friendly match against Iceland, having recently defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina 3-0 in another friendly.
