Tuchel is the first Bayern coach since 2010 who didn’t make any substitutions in a Bundesliga match
Thomas Tuchel became the first Bayern coach since 2010 not to make a substitution in a German Bundesliga match, as reported by Gracenoe Live on Twitter.
The previous coach to do so for Munich was Louis van Gaal on December 11, 2010, in a match against St. Pauli (3-0) during the 16th round of the championship.
Following the match, Thomas Tuchel explained his decision in a comment to DAZN.
'The players on the bench deserved to play. I didn't mean to punish them, and I told them that too. I was simply satisfied with everyone on the field and how they held their positions. I didn't want to disrupt the rhythm and risk conceding a late goal,' - said the Bayern head coach.
Recall that yesterday Bayern narrowly defeated Cologne, and Kane continues to break records.
