Tuchel is edging closer to remaining at Bayern Munich. New details of the negotiations have emerged

Thomas Tuchel is increasingly close to remaining at Bayern Munich as the head coach.
According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, the parties have been engaged in intense negotiations over the past 48 hours. Discussions are ongoing regarding the duration of the contract, with Tuchel reportedly seeking a commitment until at least 2026.
While the deal is not yet finalized, it is nearing completion. A final decision is expected to be made imminently.
Roberto De Zerbi and Erik ten Hag are also under consideration and remain on the list of candidates, but the preference within the club is leaning towards continuing the collaboration with Tuchel.
As previously reported, Bayern Munich may reconsider and retain Tuchel as the head coach for the next season. This is due to the club's failure to reach agreements with Oliver Glasner, who recently joined Crystal Palace, as well as with Xabi Alonso, Julian Nagelsmann, and Ralf Rangnick.
It is worth noting that Bayern Munich, for the first time in 11 years, did not win any titles this season. Tuchel's team currently occupies second place in the Bundesliga, and they were eliminated by Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-finals. In the German Cup, the Munich-based team suffered a sensational defeat to Saarbrücken from the third division.
